Students in the Administrative Assistant class need to know job interviewing skills and techniques.
Lesson A:
*Setting up teams *How to create a wiki *Introduce group project/Internet research *Preparing interview questions
Lesson B:
Introduction to technology
Students will learn how Skype, webcams, and YouTube works to record interviews (as interviewee and interviewer).
Lesson C:
Students will use information collected in Lesson A and B to collaborate and: *Create a team wiki *Develop an interview rubric (with questions from Lesson A) *Conduct recorded mock interviews (phone, Skype, in-person) where each team member practices being interviewee and interviewer *Evaluate each candidate's interview responses and select a candidate to hire
NOTE: Team leader will upload transcripts of team collaboration meetings and interview video(s) to team wiki, and email wiki link to instructor by deadline.
